Born and raised in Watts, South Central Los Angeles, Cedric started his musical career while still in High School, backing R&B group The Delphonics. Cedric’s aggressive yet, versatile musical style is derived from his varied U.S. and overseas experience.

His musical influence began early, as his father, a Jazz Sax player, encouraged and supported Cedric’s musical endeavors. Other musical influences include: Grover Washington Jr., Dean Fraser and John Coltrane.

Mr. Bravo has been blessed to tour, record and perform alongside such artists as: Alton Ellis, The Itals, Don Carlos, The Wailing Souls, Frankie Paul, Freddie McGregor, Ras Michael and the Sons of Negus and many more.

Presently, Cedric is an integral part of the tag team horns section that assist in the contemporary and rootical reggae experience that is the Detour Posse!
